Our Services
Get to Know Stork
At Stork Physio we make physiotherapy simple, flexible and effective, coming directly to your home or a senior living facility. We work with infants to support head shape, torticollis, early motor development, feeding challenges, and developmental milestones. Our goal is to help babies reach their full potential while empowering parents with practical strategies they can use every day.

We also provide care for children, adults and seniors, supporting injury recovery, balance, mobility, and maintaining independence and confidence in daily activities.
We created Stork to make family life easier. Instead of struggling to apply clinic skills at home or traveling with kids, our sessions bring creative, practical and fun physiotherapy directly to your environment using the tools you already have. Every session is designed to be informative, engaging, and supportive for the whole family.
Meet Your Physio!

Harmehek is a University of Alberta graduate with a strong clinical background in pediatric physiotherapy, with a primary focus on infant development. She is passionate about supporting babies with concerns such as torticollis, head shape (plagiocephaly), and delayed gross motor skills—helping them achieve critical milestones like rolling, sitting, crawling, and walking through play-based and family-centered care.

She has extensive experience treating infants and young children with neuromotor conditions, including cerebral palsy, gait abnormalities, and toe walking.
Harmehek also works with adults and seniors, including clients recovering from orthopedic surgery (like knee and hip replacements) or neurological events such as stroke or traumatic brain injury.

In addition to her pediatric expertise, Harmehek is certified in Level 1 Dry Needling and treats orthopedic injuries across all ages. Her treatment approach combines active listening, hands-on therapy, and collaborative goal setting, ensuring that both children and adults feel supported in their care.

Harmehek works closely with families and healthcare professionals to create clear, practical treatment plans, empowering caregivers and patients alike. Her evidence-based strategies integrate therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and engaging, play-driven techniques to help each client reach their full potential.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need special equipment?
Our goal is to get creative with the things you have to make the environment something that can be re-created when we leave without the need for fancy and expensive equipment. We also bring a wide variety of toys to each session to keep it engaging in case we need to spice it up!
How often do I need to book?
Our variable follow-up frequency is tailored to each patient's condition and goals. Longer appointments prioritize education, exercise management, and tailored treatments, empowering families with self-management tools to increase independence and reduce visit frequency.
Do you just see children?
Not at all, we do physio for the entire family no matter the age and have a diverse set of skills to help all types of injuries and conditions.
Do I need a Doctor's referral?
No, all appointments can be booked directly without the need for a doctors note. You are able to book online or can give us a call to answer any questions and book a session.
Do you direct bill for insurance?
Yes, we direct bill all major insurance companies including Sunlife, Blue Cross, GreenShield, Canada Life, Manulife and more. If for some reason we do not have your insurance provider you can still submit to insurance for reimbursement you will just have to do that manually.
What if I am outside of Calgary?
At this time we are only servicing the city of Calgary and not the outside areas. If you live outside of the limits of Calgary you will have to go to a family members house or we will not be able to see you. We apologize for the inconvenience.
